30 Day Movie Challenge Day Two

What is the most underrated movie in your option?

A while back I checked the rotten tomato scores for the movies on my best of the last decade list. The Way of the Gun may have been under 50% at that point, so I'll go with The Way of the Gun. I don't understand why it is so lightly regarded.

Brent's pick

Kent's pick

One day before I die, I will watch Bamboozled.

Leslie's pick

Wendy's pick

  1. I agree with that movie. I pick Big Trouble in Little China. That movie is still funny.

  2. I think I'm the only person that likes Bamboozled.

  3. My underrated movie pick is Signs. All of the critics say is terrible, but I always watch when it's on cable and get something out of it. It has some plot holes, I guess, and it does have Mel Gibson in it, but the horror is well placed and the family is real. Plus it has that woman who plays the sheriff. Cherry Jones, who I like a lot.

  4. I have never seen Signs, and I refuse to do so. I've heard from more than one person that it's good. But I thought it looked dumb when it came out, and I'm not going back on that opinion. I also refuse to sit through, Close Encounters for kind of the same reason. It doesn't look that good to me. Maybe I hate UFO movies.

  5. I really like the movie Signs and generally watch it through to the end when it is on tv. My favorite thing about it is Mel Gibson's performance.

  6. Dave and I both have a real thing for the Kill Bill movies. Maybe they were just meant to be televised rather than sat through in theaters?
