Operation: Home Improvement

This is what our patio used to look like.

This is what it looks like now.

And that is how you move some plants around, add 12 bags of rocks, and move some other bigger rocks around to make a new patio for the summer.  The next step is to fix up that shitty gate in the background, and get rid of the table and chairs so we can put in a fire pit and cozier seating.

  1. Wow, that's a big improvement. Nice work!

  2. Thanks Chuck. I can't believe we actually did a home improvement project without you.

  3. If you want to come by our backyard, we need some brick edging put in, some paver sand put down and compacted and leveled, and a brick patio installed. Also, you'll probably need to pour a concrete haunch for the bricks in front of the shed.

In other news, did you know that in the masonry world, a curb is spelled kerb? What gives?

  4. Well, that looks just great. I'm impressed how even the lighting decided to change once you made your improvements.
