Scariest movie you have ever seen . . .
The Grudge, The Exorcist, Ju-on, and most recently Insidious make the list but I'll say The Shining is still the scariest.
I think part of the reason this stuck with us so much is that we had a brief membership to HBO or The Movie Channel when this was making it's way onto cable. I remember I had to leave the room with this would play.
Kent's choice
The Shining or the Exorcist. There's never going to be anything close because it is no longer possible to make movies in the 1970s - the scariest decade of all time.
ReplyDeleteI agree that The Shining is probably the scariest. I don't get to see many scary movies anymore because Dave would p**p his pants. The movie that truly scared me the most -- in the 1970s, when things were really scary -- was the trailer for It's Alive. Gives me the willies to this day. It's probably a pretty dumb movie.
ReplyDeleteProbably The Shining. Or any horror movie ever made. I'm usually terrified of anything horror related.
ReplyDeletePet Semetary scared the hell out of me, especially the old sister in the attic.
ReplyDeleteOh God, I forgot about Pet Semetary. I think that one probably wins.
